Who we are
This site, ninestones.co.uk, is operated by Nine Stones — a trading style of Copy House Consulting Limited, a company registered in England and Wales and part of the Cohaesus Group. When these terms say "we", "us", or "our", that's who we mean. "You" means anyone using the site.
If anything below isn't clear, email us at hello@ninestones.co.uk and we'll explain it properly.
Agreeing to these terms
By using this site, you accept these terms. They apply every time you visit, so it's worth a read.
If you don't agree with them, that's fair enough — but please don't use the site. We may update these terms from time to time, as set out in section 09, and your continued use means you accept the current version.
Using the site
This is a marketing site. You're welcome to browse it, read our Notes, and get in touch — for free, and without signing up for anything.
In return, we ask that you use it sensibly. That means you agree not to:
- Misuse it. No attempting to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or anything connected to it.
- Disrupt it. No malware, no scraping at a scale that affects performance, and nothing that interferes with anyone else's use of the site.
- Abuse our forms. The contact forms and booking links are for genuine enquiries — not spam, automated submissions, or anything unlawful.
We'd rather not need this section. But if someone misuses the site, we reserve the right to restrict their access.
The content here
We write everything on this site — the service pages, the pricing, and especially the Notes — to be genuinely useful and accurate at the time of publishing.
It's information and opinion, not formal advice.
Our Notes and guidance are written to be helpful, but they're general in nature and can't account for your specific situation. Don't treat them as professional, technical, or commercial advice tailored to you. If you want advice for your own business, that's exactly what a conversation with us is for. Prices and details on the site can change, so the version you see today is the one that applies today.
Booking & enquiries
When you book a call or send an enquiry, you're starting a conversation — nothing more, and nothing binding.
Booking a call doesn't create a contract for work, and neither does an exchange of emails. We use the details you share to reply, arrange a call, and follow up, as described in our Privacy Policy. Please make sure the information you give us is accurate, so we can actually reach you.
Our services
This site describes what we do — support, maintenance, optimisation and strategy, delivered on a retainer. It's the shop window, not the contract.
If we go on to work together, the engagement is governed by a separate written agreement between us, covering scope, fees, and terms of service. Nothing on this website forms part of that agreement or counts as an offer to enter into one. Where there's any difference between the site and a signed agreement, the signed agreement wins.
Intellectual property
The words, design, brand, and other content on this site belong to us — or are used with permission.
You're welcome to read, share, and quote our Notes for your own non-commercial use, with a link or credit back to us. You may not copy, republish, or repurpose our content commercially, or pass it off as your own, without our written permission. "Nine Stones", the brandmark, and the look and feel of the site are ours.
Links to other sites
Now and then we'll link out — to our group, a tool we rate, or a source worth reading. Those sites aren't ours.
We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or their own terms and privacy practices. A link isn't an endorsement of everything on the other side of it. Once you've followed a link away from our site, these terms no longer apply.
Availability & changes
We work to keep the site up, accurate, and useful — but we can't promise it'll be available without interruption.
From time to time we'll take it down for maintenance, update content, or change how parts of it work, without notice. We may also update these terms; when we do, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. The latest version always lives here.
Our liability
We take real care over this site. But it's offered as it is, and there are limits to what we can be responsible for.
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — this site, or from relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for anything that can't lawfully be limited, such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
